My name is Jean-Marie Pfeifer and I am the owner of Shore to Shore Cleaning. I started cleaning as a little girl, I remember going to family functions and disappearing into my cousins room to clean while all the other kids played or watched tv.
Where we came from:
Shore to Shore Cleaning opened their doors in October 2015 by founder Jean Marie Pfeifer of Patchogue NY.
Jean Marie had found joy in cleaning ever since she was young girl, and often used cleaning as a way to "escape" when life would get challenging. In 2014 as a single mother of two she found herself working for a small privately owned cleaning company in Bellport Village, becoming the owners first full-time employee, while also working at a local coffee shop in the morning and catering hall at night. In June 2015 Jean-Marie sat down with her then boss, and decided that come the fall when Bellports summer residents went back to the city, they would part ways and she would go out on her own.
Just that happened, on October 9th 2015 Shore to Shore Cleaning was born, and the adventure of entrepreneurship began. She went from having an occasional helping hand, to forming her first crew when she found herself pregnant, six months into business. Talk about the universe having a bigger plan for her than she could have ever imagined.
Where we are:
Coming up on 8 years of business the company has continued to grow year over year, (Even the pandemic couldn't slow us down, it was all about pivoting) Jean Marie and the entire team believe in family and community. Together they work throughout the community on a multitude of small projects that make a great impact. We currently service over 500 homes a year in Suffolk and Nassau County, with that number continuing to grow.
Where we are going:
Shore to Shore recently began making its way into the world of Janitorial Services. We have serviced multiple small offices along the way, as well as some rather big commercial post construction cleanings. 2023 has brought the next chapter of business as we have begun signing contractors to service larger buildings 2-7 times a week.
In addition, Jean Marie has begun to look into opening a new location in neighboring states. If you're planning on moving, let us know. You just may be able to take us with you!
